We can’t wait to welcome you to our team! Once you’ve accepted the role, we’ll be in touch to get everything set up for your first day. From Day One, we’ll greet you with a warm cuppa and a biscuit, introduce you to the team, and show you around our Customer Distribution Centre. You’ll get your uniform and a goodie bag, along with all the tools and training you need during our comprehensive training experience.
In your first few weeks, you’ll dive into every aspect of life at the Customer Distribution Centre. Your buddy will be there to support you and show you the ropes. If you’re on the Warehouse team, you’ll even get to ride along in our delivery vans to see the end-to-end customer journey before joining your buddy in the warehouse.
If you’re coming on board in our Driving team, you’ll start with the warehouse team and then receive top-notch training from our experienced Driver Trainers before heading out as part of a 3 person team, gaining hands-on knowledge of the customer delivery journey. Alongside delivering to our customers’ homes, our deliveries involve close collaboration with DFS and Sofology stores, and you’ll have the chance to visit a local branch to meet the retail teams and understand how our delivery service supports them.
You can expect regular check-ins with your shift managers and CDC manager, who are always on hand for any support you need. We also hold monthly team meetings, where you’ll receive business updates, discuss team performance, celebrate achievements, and have a good chance to catch up with everyone.
